Weekly Homework Routine:
Read the story selection sent home on Monday and reread the passage every night to build fluency or read any other books, stories, magazines of your choice for at least 20 minutes.
Complete each of the comprehension questions and writing prompts. Written responses must be in a full, complete sentence.
Reading homework is due on Friday.
*Daily Math papers will be sent home each day. These problems are due the following day.*
Your child will have homework from Monday - Thursday each week. Please be sure to check your child's binder for the reading packet on Monday and a half sheet for the daily math problems to complete at home.

1. Reading is required every day! You may choose to re-read the selection sent home and/or choose from a book, magazine, Raz-Kids, etc. Please read with your child or encourage them to read (a "Just Right!" book) at least 20 minutes a day.
2. Practice spelling words and/or math facts - Students will have their spelling words inside their binder/planner. Students may use Spelling City (click on the picture below to practice the words for the current week) or any other activity to prepare for their spelling test on Friday. Math facts can be practiced with flash cards, from links found on my home page, tablet/mobile apps, or Moby Max.
